Cabinzero Military 36 - I added times
one to the Cabin Zero marketing team, and they were kind enough to send me the bag for free. I got the one with the Naga Red color because I just love the way the color turns out.

The bag also comes in three other colors - pitch black, navy, and cool orange. It measures 44 x 30 x 20 cm and costs $76. These are the main features I've used this backpack for on many of my trips since 2015, from short weekend trips to 15 months across Asia, Europe and South America, so I think it's fair to say that I know the CabinZero product well.

What Should You Look For In A Carry-On Bag?
How much should you spend? I would say $100 or less. 2) Comfort - closed back panels and shoulder straps will save you from back pain. 3) Design look oh - simplicity is key. You can't go wrong with a casual, functional design.
4) Space - It should be big enough to fit everything you need for at least a week but small enough to allow you to move on. 5) Laptop Compartment - A dedicated laptop compartment makes it easy to carry your computer.
Hi Karis, thanks! Glad you found the review useful. I'm actually traveling to the Hollywood sign this weekend and I'm picking up a bag. I've previously walked around wearing it for hours on hot days and found it comfortable.
The shoulder straps are closed. It also depends on how much stuff you put in it. As long as you don't fill it to the brim, it's easy to carry for hours. The heavy-duty specification means no area is too tough for the CabinZero Army backpack.

10 — Includes Okoban Tracking Tag With a capacity of 36L, the Zero 36L cabin can hold enough items for a month of international travel. I've used mine on three solo trips in 1 month so far and couldn't be happier.
Cabin Zero luggage meets most airline standards so you can travel light. You can pack all your essentials in a backpack without being bulky. So far, I haven't used packing cubes, but I would imagine they would make the load easier to carry.

Now compare it to how I usually pack with Army - you can see that I can easily put 2 layers of stuff in before closing the bag. The front pocket of the ADV Pro has taken over this space, and it could be argued that you can put less in the front pockets of the ADV Pro, but the space is not increased as much as the military space.
I am always looking for new bags for my travels. Since I almost never look at bags, I look for carry-on bags - backpacks, duffle bags and rolling bags. This review is for the Cabin Zero 36L, a reliable backpack that I have been using a lot.

Please note that the time shown does not include shipping time. Please refer to the product description for shipping time. I'm a little confused about how I feel about the new ADV Pro. I like most of the new features, but the biggest issue for me is that it's a bit less spacious than it used to be.
Compactness and increased space were the main selling points for me of the CabinZero compared to other bags, so I'm more inclined to carry the ADV Pro if I'm traveling light or have carry-on bags with me.
I still prefer the Army (new) for carry on trips simply because there is more room. This bag sounds great, thanks for the detailed review! I'm like you and only travel with a carry-on, so I'm always looking for a good bag.
Do you think this bag is good for hiking, ie. comfortable enough to wear for several hours while possibly sweating profusely? 🙂 Heavy duty features mean no area is too tough for the CabinZero Military Backpack.

The ADV series is CabinZero's new line of rucksacks which I think was originally intended to be a re-release from the Military line as they originally called it Military as Adventure.
Since then it seems they have decided to market it separately, but considering my favorite CabinZero is the Army, that's why I'm comparing it to the ADV Pro review. The ADV comes in ADV and ADV Pro levels, the main difference is that the laptop pocket in the Pro is in the front of the bag while the ADV is similar to the Army and the L-shaped pocket is inside the bag.

Good to know. This introduction is meant to give you some context for my review. I personally like CabinZero, and yes, they sponsor my bags which means I get them for free, but I don't get paid to give a good review.
I recommend this bag to people all the time and get asked a lot about its features, so I'm writing my personal experience here so you can make your own choice. It is important to note that your needs are not the same as mine.
